CADET DAN raced straight from the start, responded when roused and shook off opposition in the final furlong. DR. ROCHE was a prominent factor all the way and began to tire at the end. OSCULORIA was taken under restraint when outrun and moved up stoutly in the late stages, but could not menace the leaders. PICKLE BEETS finished with determination on the inside. FAMESTOWN moved into command shortly after the start, was hustled along smartly to draw clear and was under hand urging to the end. NASSAU was sent through on the inside rounding the stretch turn, but could not menace the winner. GOLD BULL was sent up on the outside turning for home and finished well. HALCYON AIR was blocked rounding to the stretch turn, then came again. WARDEN JR. had early speed. TULANE CHEER had no mishap. The long post delay was due to changing the starting gates when the original was broken. A stiff wind blew down the track which made it hard for the horses to face. Corrected weight— Gold Bull, 118. BEEDEE had early speed, then quit. LITTLE ANN, on the outside, had some early speed. RULING TIME could not keep up. SEA FARE showed an even effort. The latter was sent into command, then, taken under restraint while showing speed, was eased in the final furlong, then, when challenged, could not be kept going MISS CHALLEDON, on the inside, made up some ground at the end. HALF AFTER raced well up from the start, was sent through on the inside, then tired. ALADEAR broke in a tangle, improved her position steadily and finished fastest of all on the outside. DANADA RED made a determined bid in the stretch run and finished in a dead-heat for third with ALADEAR. PERFECT BAHRAM, on the outside, could not menace the leaders.
