New Moon Leads From Start To Finish in Havre Event HAVRE DE GRACE, May 15.— Returning to winning form for the first time this spring, Henry L. Straus veteran sprinter New Moon stretched his speed a mile and 70 yards over a muddy track here today to register a popular victory in the featured Tolchester Purse. Experiencing little difficulty in maintaining a comfortable lead once Carson Kirk had hurried him into the van of five rivals leaving the starting gate, New Moon led every step of the muddy journey to reach the judges three and one-half lengths clear of H. Guy Bedwells Hammer-Lock, with Morris Pricketls Spanish Uhl third, beaten an additional eight lengths.
