Injured in Training Mishaps AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., May 15.— Two persons were injured during the training period at Aqueduct this morning. Saviona Ingordo, an exercise rider in the employ of Frank Kearns, suffered a broken leg when thrown from a horse he was galloping, while Joe Sullivan, a groom working for Belmont Evans, was kicked in the chest by a horse. Sullivans injuries were not serious. the governor, Lokar stated he had intended for some time to leave the commission and. later, following the gubernatorial request for resignation, that he had at first considered fighting the ouster, but that he became convinced it would be useless. The governor last Friday demanded Lokar s resignation as an aftermath of liquor scandals that followed in the wake of the Lausche administration. Lokar was named to the commission by the then Gov. Frank J. Lausche last January and just a few days prior to the administration going out of office. In his letter to the governor, Lokar said, "For some time I have been torn by the thought of resigning my post, to which I was appointed by former Governor Lausche. I hasten to submit my resignation and ask that you accept it forthwith, as I feel that sufficient abuse has been poured on me and my family without just cause."
