RATION had speed while taking a short lead over UNSHAKABLE and, on the outside, shook off a stout bid from the latter in the stretch, then came out under pressure. GLORY STEP, never far back, was sent around on the outside for the drive and finished well. UNSHAKABLE had speed while racing on the inside of the winner and made a stout bid in the stretch, but hung. BROWN VICAR was unable to threaten while racing evenly. DEJURE, slow to settle in stride, passed tired horses. GYPSY ACTRESS was never prominent. LOOKOUT RASCAL had some early speed, but flattened out. BEAN POT, steadied within reach of the leaders until rounding the turn, drove between horses entering the stretch, took command and drew out while bearing out slightly. SILVER STYLE had speed to outrun SHREWLA while on the outside, took a brief lead on the turn and was carried slightly wide by the winner, but was weakening. CLUB CAR lacked speed to match the early pace, secured room on the inside for the drive and finished well. MELLOW trailed to the stretch, then closed ground on the outside. VALIANT JIM was unable to engage the leaders. HY-TRITE showed nothing. DISPATCH, never far back and racing on the outside, moved up threateningly in the stretch, but could not withstand the winner CONCHO KID, never far back and saving ground, held on well. MARIE OLYMPIA lacked early speed, but finished boldly. EVA WEBRE was slow to settle in stride and could not threaten when set down. JUST FLIP was hustled to the front and was rated there, but weakened. NOT TOMORROW had early speed while on the inside, but quit. ABREK could not keep up. RICHAVOO had some early speed on the inside and held on well. COUNT QUICK weakened after showing early speed. HI BOB was on the outside all the way and was not dangerous. IRONSWEEP had early speed, but fell back steadily. VERONA SANDS was never prominent. GROUND SIGNAL could not keep up. PHOTO LIGHT lacked early speed and broke down. CREDENTIALS was unhurried early while saving ground, then responded well when placed to pressure. VALDINA PERION was used up trying to get to the front and weakened. DEVILS BREW was steadied closest to the pace of LYTTA-JANE, moved around the latter on the final turn, took a short lead and drew clear under pressure. LYTTA-JANE was sent into a clear lead, saved ground and gave way to the winner, but held on stubbornly. WOODSMAN was steadied off the early pace, moved up on the outside in the stretch and finished fast. FIGHTING MAC was forwardly placed from the beginning and made a stout bid in the stretch, but hung. GAINER closed well from a slow beginning, but was not dangerous. STAR LADY was never prominent. SUNRID could not threaten in a very dull effort. Star Lady claimed by D. Emery. PAINTER lacked early speed, but finished gamely. PILATESUN made up some ground in the late stages. DARBY DISMAY had early speed, but quit.
