LEANORD G. went to the front under restraint, drew clear, was steadied there, but was roused sharply in the late stretch. RADIO JOE raced in closest attendance of the winner and closed fast. HALF PINT raced evenly throughout while saving ground, but was unable to improve her position. BRILLIANT JR. had no mishap, but could not threaten. ATOKA LAD was unable to engage the leaders.
