Ellis Paints Phar Mon CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 15. — Russ Ellis, widely known artist, completed a painting today of Phar Mon, William Veenemans Bashford Manor Stakes winner, and the Veeneman trainer, Warren Gale Douglass. The picture, an excellent one, was on display at the Veeneman barn.
