Bernsteni; bred by George F. Tyler. WENT TO POST-5:44. OFF AT 5:44 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. JOSIES PAL, rated back of the leaders, slipped through on the inside to gain the lead entering the stretch and was kept going under steady pressure. PEACE TALK improved position steadily to finish with a rush on the outside. CANEE, in close quarters while straightening on the backstretch, rallied mildly when clear to enter contention in the final furlong, then raced evenly. OVER moved on the inside to threaten entering the stretch, then faltered. GREAT BEYOND set the pace under steadying restraint, but tired in the final quarter.- CRAZY HORSE lacked early speed. WISE CHANCE was never a serious factor. PSYCHIC RATE raced wide nearing the backstretch, was unable to gain the lead, then retired steadily. NERVESTA had speed for a half. PRINCE CANTER was through early. Overweight Over, 4 pounds; Glad Hadagal, 2. - Attendance, 14,254; Total Mutuel Pool, 66,447 Returned to Public, 60,138, Less Breakage.
