MAMA FUFU was steadied along close to the pace from the beginning and shook off opposition in the final furlong to draw away. CADET CARL was prominent on the outside from the beginning, but began to falter in the last few yards, then lasted to finish in a dead-heat with LADY APPLE. The latter dropped back early, improved her position when roused and finished well. STEVEN PETER had no mishap. Overweight Cadet Carl, 1 pound. Cadet Carl claimed by Mrs. S. Rutchick.
