Fairmount Officials on Hand For Meeting Opening Today FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., May 28. All of the Fairmount Park Jockey Club officials are on hand awaiting the beginning of the 32-day meeting tomorrow, including Illinois racing stew-art Tom Brown, who arrived Sunday from Beulah Park. With the exception of the new racing secretary, Henderson Van Zandt, the officials remain practically the same. The Fairmount Park stewards are Frederic Crafton and James Gruber.who is expected to arrive momentarily. The placing judges remain Cliff Abbo, -Teague Pichon and George Senn, all of whom are present. Clerk of the scales is Ralph Stubbs; paddock judge, L. O. DeLanchaw, Sr.; patrol judges, Arthur Maher, Arthur Eilerman and Arturo Milhe, who is a protege of racing secretary Van Zandt and who will arrive from Mexico City shortly. Track superintendent is John LeBlanc; official timer, Teague Pichon, and Dr. L. J. Stortz is the track veterinarian.
