Illinois Notes •LINCOLN FIELDS at Washington Park, Homewood, HI., May 25.- Lady Marquest, a highly regarded juvenile filly belonging to Mrs. C. O. McCaw, Jr. and John Johnson, arrived today from Churchill Downs. She was accompanied by another two-year-old, Leonie Girl, owned by C. B. Hudson. Johnson, who trains the pair, reported Lady Marquest is being pointed for the Miss America Stakes, juvenile filly race to be run here June 11. Sam Andrews* Jacobe, Balheim, Slades Corner and Contortionist and W. Detines Burnt Almond were registered for racing at this meeting after being shipped here from Churchill Downs by trainer W. T. Sullivan. The horses of Reverie Knoll Farm, owned by Freeman Keyes, who will race here, arrived today from Churchill Downs in care of Jay W. Burton. The shipment contained Sister Cora, Flint Heart, French Admiral, Foxy Gal, Torch Sickle, Whining Hand, Mon-Pharo, and Mahplay. Jockey Donald Wagner has been engaged to handle the reins on Caillou Rouge in the Steger Handicap, principal offering Saturday, according to owner P. J. Valenti. Mrs. E. Oros Faff is being shipped from here to Ak-Sar-Ben in Omaha where W. N. Rishel will take charge of the seven-year-old daughter of Sweeplike. Good Look was the lone representative owner-trainer G. A. Murray brought with him from Churchill Downs today and quartered at this plant. ~ _____ R. W. Shaw added J. R. Branamans Miss Quinlan to the menage he is conditioning here after the 3-year-old filly arrived from Louisville, Ky. Art Jack Lindsay .packed his tack and left for River Downs, ivhere a 43-day meeting gets under way June 1 at the southern Ohio oval. Acting for the Happy Stable, trainer C. H. Pinon sold at privte- terms today Undesirable, to Mrs. D. A. Ewart. D. A. Ewart is the new trainer. Trainer M. L. Fallon brought in Cashmere, Brush Mouth, and Lynells from Churchill Downs for different owners. The publicly owned string T. H. Stevens recently shipped here from Churchill Downs has been taken over by Mac Miller to condition for the rest of the current meeting. Ever On, Zoom, Royal Sir, Blue Nettie, and Jamerica, representing various owners, made up the contingent William Johnson shipped to this point today from Churchill Downs. R. W. Boyens has been appointed to condition Count Quick for the remainder of this meeting, reported owner A". Franco, Jr., today. y
