FIRE DUST, away poorly, was rushed I up between horses, took command on the outside and just lasted over CHIC CHIC. The latter was reserved in the first half, made up ground steadily when called upon and just missed. DON OSULLIVAN bore out coming r- out of the turn, then came again in the drive when straightened. HADAMAR was hustled along to reach the ; lead on the backstretch, then weakened in the drive. NINETEEN FOUR had no excuse. STRAETH was off very ; poorly. SPANAQUA broke badly. REIGH MISS suffered a hemorrhage during the running. Overweight— Straeth, 1 pound. Don OSullivan claimed by C. H.
