MAD PASS was not hurried while within easy striking distance of the leaders, moved well between horses during the stretch run and outgamed GARY LESLIE. The latter was slow to settle in stride, was nicely handled while working way between horses and fought it out gamely. LIDO WAY assumed a clear lead in the early stretch and continued gamely. TRAVANCORE made up ground steadily while racing on the outside. ARDENT MISS rallied only mildly. REGALON held a clear lead into the stretch and drifted out while tiring. ELBOW ROOM, slow to reach best stride and forced to race wide, made up ground steadily. FENTY 0. raced well in the late stages. PHARA SURPRISE lacked a rally. PROBATION tired after racing forwardly. MYSTAGOGUE outsprinted the field from soon after the start and won with speed in reserve. STEFANELLA moved well to loom a threat, but drifted out through the stretch. CONSIDERED raced forwardly throughout, but was not good enough. NICK BLOOM caught tired horses. YOGI dropped back immediately after the break. HANDLE tired gradually. WIND BREAK was hard ridden in an effort to gain command from the outside, but tired in the drive. OPAL BLOSSOM raced wide while rallying and had nothing left for the final test. GOING AIRY improved her position steadily and was going best of all at the end. SEND OFF raced forwardly throughout and should improve off the effort. CERTIFIED rallied too late. Start good from stall gate. Won easily; second and third driving. ANNA CHRISTIE showed her usual speed to attain command at once, was rated along while in front and won easily. SOPHOCLES could not attain command and held on fairly well, but could not stay with the top one. MR. KILROY faltered after pressing the winners pace to midway of the stretch. COUNT DISPLAY rallied only mildly to catch tired horses. BROWN FOX showed speed and tired. TRANSAIR could not keep up. ILL BE was not prominent. HEARTH MOUSE needed the race. BEBITA, under restraint in the early part, moved from the outside to wear down the leaders, then drew clear to win easily. TELLANRUN, nicely rated while establishing the pace, could not resist the winner. WINDY made up ground steadily, but was beaten off by the top pair. BLUE LABEL, prominent without urging early, flattened out in the real test. PARTLY CLOUDY was taken up from the half-mile pole to the quarter pole. TORONTO showed nothing.
