McGuire Undergoes Operation BALTIMORE, Md., June 10.— Hugh J. "Mickey" McGuire, a member of the Daily Racing Form staff,-is confined to the West Baltimore General Hospital in this city following a major operation. McGuire was operated upon Thursday for the removal of a tumor, which was deeply imbedded behind the pancreas. McGuire was in the operating room from 9:30 a. m. until 2:30 p. m., at which time the operation was pronounced a success. However, it will be several days before physicians can determine his actual condition.
