Victories by Outsiders Enlivens 7Gansett Sport Whim Wise and Hurinow Score, Paying Better Than 100 to 1 NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 10. — R. V. Jamiesons Maxmar, who was claimed for ,500 at the recent Suffolk Downs meeting, today accounted for his third straight purse for the present owner. The four-year-old gelded son of Maeriel came to the end of the mile and one-sixteenth Bayview Purse, a length and a half before Lookout Studs Lookout Dice. A brisk wind kept the crowd of 7,793 following the sun around to keep warm as the shadows fell across the vast apron before the grandstand. Long shot players had their innings in the second and fourth races as R. C. Adams Whim Wise, 172-1, and Miss D. Palmers Hurinow, 145-1, won their respective races. Whim Wise, ridden by the veteran Pat Milligan, completed a Daily Double, which coupled with H. M. Stacks Micmac, winner of the opener, paid ,380.40. The straight pay-off of Whim Wise, 47.40 for the usual deuce, was the highest of the current New England season. Hurinow paid 92.60 for his victory over a band of sophomores. In the Bayview, Lookout Dice was sent to the front at once by apprentice Ronald Delpidio, closely followed by Octorora. Entering the stretch Darrell Madden urged Maxmar to go between. Lookout Dice and Octorora and the greatly improved gelding responded to the left handed whip applied by Madden Lookout Dice appeared to hang after losing command, dropping back to third position but came again in the final yards
