. f , b F ° of 5 tj p ■ J * r Kiner Down With the Grippe NEW YORK, N. Y., May 5 UP .—First baseman Ralph Kiner of the Pittsburgh Pirates was sidelined today with an attack the grippe. Manager Billy Meyer and catcher Clyde McCullough were bedded for the third straight day and will not accompany the team to Boston tomorrow. Coach Milt Stock has been acting manager in Meyers absence. Kiner said he would go to Boston with the club but did not know whether he could play. Rookie Dale Long ! replaced him at first base.
