HOW, prominent from the beginning, disposed of TILLY ROSE nearing the furlong marker and gradually increased her advantage when subjected to brisk pressure. ASTRO, forced to take up leaving the barrier, improved her position en the inside and closed with good courage. SICKLES IMAGE, never far back, came out for the drive, but, under punishment, was not good enough. TILLY ROSE raced BIDDY BID into defeat to assume a slight lead on the far turn, tired during the late stages and could not withstand the top ones. BOOT ALL lacked a rally. SUN TAN GAL had no mishap. CAROLINA QUEEN passed tiring horses. RUDDY was knocked back at the start and failed to recover. BIDDY BID quit. AUNT JINNY broke to the outside, impeded RUDDY, was rushed into closer contention on the outside, then tired. JULIETS NURSE was eliminated when in close quarters on the far turn.
