SIR STEPHEN rallied when put to pressure in the final quarter. WISH EGAN lacked early speed HANDY SORT weakened after setting the pace for a half mile. FRANCS CRACKER lacked a closing rallv. DANNAS PENSIVE, in hand while between horses to the far turn, came out to a clear lead before rounding the final turn and won with something left. FREDDIE BAUM broke alertly, was taken back off the pace and sent to the outside when roused, but was unable to menace the winner. PRINCESS HOPE had gocd early speed, dropped back and came to the inside with good energy through the stretch. SEAL REQUEST weakened after forcing the pace. TANGENT went evenly. MY FREEDOM, outrun to the final quarter mile, came through along the inside, responded to strong pressure and forged to the front near the end. WAR TORO, slow to settle into best stride, lost ground when sent up on the outside and closed strongly. TULKINGHORN finished fast along the inside. MUSICAL LADY set a rapid pace, drifted out and tired in the stretch. SHOE SHINE came from far off the pace with a belated rush. IDIO had speed for a half mrle. ANNIES CHOICE was unable to keep up. ALGASIR, forwardly placed between horses to the far turn, saved ground as the field bunched on the turn, responded to stout pressure and was along to outfinish ALL AT ONCE. The latter raced close to the pace, remained along the inside and held on stubbornly to the end. DUKES GAL was rushed to get the early lea . drew clear after three furlongs, shortened stride in the stretch and was tiring. DE LUXE broke alertly, dropped back, moved along the rail to the final turn, came out to the middle of the track, was bothered sliohtly and was unable to make up lost ground. REGAL raced close to the pace for five furlongs, moved into command when roused, skirted the inner rail and was urged near the end to protect the lead from the onrushihg OUTLAND. The latter, under steadying restraint to the final quarter mile, lost ground while in full stride on the turn and was catching the winner at the end. LAMBENT rallied mildly in the late stages. LIONHEART alternated in establishing the pace, weakening after seven furlongs. FAIR APPRAISAL showed nothing PEACE MISSION tired after a mile. CURRUHUINCA was never prominent. BOBS ACE forced the pace, took command on the far turn, then weakened. HOMING PIGEON lacked a closing rally. BLACK ROVER was unable to threaten when put to a drive. BILL KEEFE showed nothing.
