STEVIE DEAR closed well after a slow start. KINGS POINT ran forwardly placed until leaving the turn and gave way. CLOUDY tired after showing early speed. BIFORATE was outrun. CHILD WONDER emit. NEWSWEEKLY was in close attendance of the pace while saving ground, came out to displace the leaders in the drive and won fully extended. ADAMANT forced the pace on the outside, reached the lead briefly between calls in the final furlong, but was not good ercugh. TEDDIES IMP went into a clear advantage and came to the rail on the backstretch, then faltered in the final furlong. INQUIRING was forced to race wide on the turn when moving up. NULLIFY was not far back while trailing, improved position steadily on the outside to engage the leaders and outgamed PLATOON. The latter broke quickest, but lacked speed to remain in command, saved ground on the turn, went up on the outside of the top pair to reach command between calls in the final furlong, but was not good enough. MISSION was hustled along to be on nearly even terms for the lead and tired the in closing furlong. POPPAEA came to the rail before reaching the turn, held on gamely until the stretch and gave way. RENEW, never far back while saving ground, went through on the inside entering the stretch when the leaders went wide, took command just inside the furlong post and lasted over THELMA BERGER. The latter, well placed on the outside, was forced to race wide when making her bid after a half mile and just missed. NEXT MOVE was eased back and btought to the outside when the field bunched entering the first turn, improved her position thereafter from the outside, was carried to the middle of the track and bumped in the stretch, threatened boldly midway of the drive and faltered. NELL K. vied for the lead on the rail, ran cut entering the stretch and faltered in the final furlong. BUSANDA closed willingly between horses*. DRIFTING MAID made a game bid between horses on the final turn and weakened in the drive. LITHE saved ground while prominent and tired before six furlongs. SIAMA had speed for a half mile and quit. The latter saved ground while being reserved, came out for the drive and closed resolutely. DISCREET went through on the rail to be on nearly even terms for the lead and faltered in the drive. BASICALLY swung wide entering the stretch. SAXONY caught tired horses. SIR GREEK ran forwardly for six furlongs and gave way. OUT POINT stumbled badly leaving the gate and lost his rider. The latter held a slight advantage under rating until the stretch but could not resist the winner. CONTROL was a sharp contender from the break and held on well. KILLER MAC unseated his rider during the post parad, galloped at a slew pace for about a half mile, improved position from the outside during the race to be prominent and closed willinqly CHANCELING had no excuse.
