Mahlon Hanover, 1950 champion two-year-old, is spring book favorite for the Hambletonian. This bay son of Nibble Hanover is owned by William Evans, Rockville Center, N. Y. Scotch Rhythm, who won the 0,000 Tompkins Memorial last summer, should rate tops because Miss Tilly and Lusty Song, who won . the juvenile stake in 1948 and 1949, went on win the Hambletonian in succeeding years.
