ALS BOURBON, always within striking distance, forged between horses to reach the lead midway of the final furlong and gamely withstood HADAMAR. The latter reached the lead nearing the furlong marker and held on tenaciously in a sharp effort. NIGHT TOUR closed resolutely and was getting to the winner. CLOY rallied too late to seriously endanger the top ones. POTENTATE II. tired under punishment. FATE was always between horses. SNATCHED was outrun. ROYAL LUCK quit. ELKH0RN was blocked while tiring during the late stages. FLAGLER was never a forward factor.
