Lancaster Lady Clashes With Six Fairmount Foes Will Meet K. Tal, Mandys First And Kapi Boy Over Six Furlongs By C. A. UNDEMAN Staff Correspondent FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collins ville, 111., May 21.— Racing settles into stride here at Fairmount park tomorrow night with the presentation of another nine-race card. During the 35 nights of racing to be run off this early summer season, there will be nine races each night for the first four nights, then eight events will be held for the mid-week programs. There will be two daylight programs presented this meeting, the first being on Memorial Day and the other on the Fourth of July, which brings the meeting to a close. Headlining tomorrows program is the seventh race, titled the "Club Prevue," in which seven sprinters will vie over the six-furlong distance. A purse of ,500 will be the prize. Topping the select field is Lancaster Lady, who likely will be the public choice. The W. Tabbitite representative raced well at Belmont Park last year, then met the top handicap stars at Oaklawn Park this spring. Her rivals and her weight assignment of 110 pounds seem more to her liking and she will undoubtedly gain a host of followers at the local course. The Trumac Stable colorbearer, K Tal, assigned the light impost of 105 pounds, compiled a respectable record at Centennial last season and is reported working well of late, consequently will draw a good following. Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Holmans Mandys First has yet to record her first score, but the fast daughter of Hypocrite does not appear to be overmatched and may make her initial appearance in the winners circle. She will have the saddle services of the veteran Palmer Domenico and the light impost of 105 pounds. Promising keen competition to the above is W. J. Norwines Kapi Boy, 110. Since setting a track record as a two-year-old, the Norwine sprinter displayed rather mediocre form in his Sportsmans campaign this spring, but has shown a fondness for the local strip and may put forth a surprising effort. R. Pools Greek Light, also assigned 110 pounds, is a consistent campaigner and usually is close to his rivals at the wire, although his Prevue rivals seem a little over the type he is usually asked to meet. E. Mclntire and F. Schroeders Fabulous South, 105, and T. Schats* Sir Dakota, 105, must show definite improvement if they are to down their foes in tomorrows feature.
