RED saved ground while pursuing the pace, vied for the command entering the stretch, was not good enough, but held the others safe. MY DREAM MARIE, steadied close to the pace, lacked a closing rally. VIVIANS BEST, allowed to settle into best stride while trailing, moved readily when set down, but was unable to overtake the leaders. JAKABLOM was carried wide on the final turn. DIBILLANE had no mishap. MERRY THOUGHT established the pace for about six furlongs and weakened. CLEAR CASH had brief speed. COINCIDENT pulled up lame. The others were outrun.
