HUNTSVILLE raced on the rail behind the leaders, could not find room to improve position on the turn and was twice taken up sharply, but slipped through at the head of the stretch and then outfinished LILLAL. The latter raced JET DANDY into defeat after three furlongs, then gamely met the challenge of the winner, but slightly weakened at the end. NEW DREAM raced -up to loom boldly on the outside entering the stretch, but weakened when set down for the drive. DIXIE FLYER began slowly, saved ground in the final run and finished well. ROMAN FAIR was outrun. SWEET VERMOUTH was under strong restraint trying to bear out on the turn. JERRYS BEST was steadily urged along to gain the advantage rounding into the backstretch, remained under pressure gradually drawing clear and continued willingly to the end. HARANGUE strongly reserved while racing well out in the track and, losing ground, swerved in when set down entering the stretch, then finished well despite the inexperienced handling. DONNA BOORSE, outrun for a half mile, closed with good late speed. SEER vied with JERRYS BEST on the outside, did not respond when urged after a half mile a,nd gradually weakened.
