Maeda Rushed to Hospital ASCOT PARK, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, May 25. — Jockey Tommy Maeda, who figured in a spill during the running of the eighth race this afternoon, was removed to St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. It was feared that Maeda might have sustained a fractured skull in the mishap. The other rider involved Gail Parker was not injured.
