Harness Bill Before Assembly TRENTON, N. J., May 25.— Action was awaited today by the New Jersey Assembly on a bill legalizing night harness racing in the state. The measure was approved by the State Senate Monday, authorizing racing under the lights next season at New Jerseys lone trotting track at Freehold. Under a bill passed at the last session of the Legislature, four harness tracks are authorized, although only one, Freehold Raceway, is in operation. The Senate vote was 11 to 5, with five abstentions. Observers here expected the Assembly to act favorably on the bill, with early approval by Gov. Robert B. Meyner. " - i- „■■• •■ «,
