All of the first four finishers share in the added ,000 with Claiborne Farms Bayou being. credited with 26,000 instead of 2,650 Ceorge D. Wideners Teleran receiving ,000 instead of ,000 for finishing 2nd; King Ranchs Here and There receiving 3,000 instead of ,500 and C. V. Whitneys Magic Forest being credited with 1,500 instead of ,250 for finishing 4th. The gross value becomes 6,800. The GNYA felt they should stick by their original advertised value of the race.
