Jockey Lyman Richards Suffers Broken Collarbone in Spill HENDERSON, Ky., June 5. Jockey Lyman Richards was resting comfortably at the Methodist Hospital here today after undergoing treatment lor a broken collarbone and lacerations suffered in a spill during the running of the fifth race at Audubon Park yesterday. L. Alatorre, the other rider involved in the accident, escaped with a severe shaking-up and minor lacerations. Richards suffered his injuries when H Hoffmans Foxley Lass stumbled and fell during the running of the event. The rider was thrown heavily but was fortunate to land clear of Mrs. Francis Alveys Charlie Bowman with Jockey L. Alatorre aboard who crashed into the fallen horse and floundered about without going down Alatorre. was also pitched to the track and both boys were unconscious when placed in the ambulance.
