JUNGLE was slow to begin and was outrun for a half-mile, then came fast after entering the stretch to catch SANDERS ROAD in the fnal sixteenth but was all out to hold NEXT PLEASE. The latter came strongly to find an opening in the stretch and was racing fast at the finish. SANDERS ROAD raced SOUTHERN SKIES into defeat and then pulled away entering teh stretch but was not strong enough to last RE RE PO finished fairly well. BROOK PRINCE, ROCK DOZER and IRISH SEA tired.
