REGAL GESTURE broke sluggishly, moved up steadily while racing green, and should improve off the effort. SHIBBEYE was forwardly placed to the early stretch where she faltered when set down for the drive. SINK NOT SUNK passed only tiring horses. LETS MISBEHAVE was well placed and lacked a rally after bumping with REGAL GESTURE on entering the stretch. MAGIC CHANCE was through early. DIOGENES forced the early pace while in hand, came to the outside to wear down PRECIOUS PET when ready on the second turn, then drew well clear and won with something left PRECIOUS PET had her SDeed, saved ground and, while un.able to handle the winner, was easily best of the others. DREAM GIRL, unhurried while being outrun early, moved up between horses when rallying in the late stages, drifted out through the stretch run and was all out to prove slightly best over FALLING STAR. DREAM GIRL survived a claim of foul lodged by the rider of DANCING BOY for alleged interference in the stretch run. FALLING STAR forced the early pace while in hand, moved up boldly to wrest command on entering the stretch but was not quite good enough. DANCING BOY, never far back was forced to race wide when making his bid in the late stages and while being carried slightly wide finished with good courage. ROMAN EDDIE tired from his early efforts. CHANSON survived a claim of foul lodged by the rider of DONT LOOK NOW for alleged interference through the early stretch. BLUE LAW made the pace under good rating, saved ground and held on stubbornly in a long drive. DONT LOOK NOW, never a great distance back, moved up along the inside to the final turn where she was brought out between horses for the drive and appeared to hang slightly in the final stages. 0. G.
