Won driving; second and third the same. MY CARRIE was closest to CLYMENE while the latter was making the pace, then went to the front entering the stretch and had enough left to hold LAURA B. W. The latter gained gradually in the last quarter and was going well at the end. LAS OLAS was racing strongly at the finish. MARCET moved up in the stretch and looned dangerously at the midstretch, then tired. PANA saved ground in the stretch but was in rather tight quarters next to the rail an eighth out. CLYMENE stopped badly in the stretch. DEDEDONS JOY stumbled at the break and lost her rider. PROUD UNCLE rushed up on the outside soon after the start and was a good contender for the rest of the trip. WITH MUSIC lacked much early speed but was going strongly at the end. STAG LINE, never far removed, made a good run on the outside through the stretch to best JULIE BELLE. The latter went evenly but failed to threaten for the leadership. DALES DELIGHT was restrained close to the pace of MAROONED until the stretch was reached and then took a short lead but was unable to hold the winner. MAROONED went to the front early and, saving ground while setting the pace under good rating, held on well. ESTACION was off rather slowly but saved ground to move up nearing the far turn and raced next to the rail thereafter. LADY SWORDS weakened in the stretch.
