ASK BRAINS OP DOOMED Scientists Thursday asked that they be allowed to remove the brains of John Hauff. Charles Gerner and August Thielen after they are executed for the murder of one man, killed when they took part in a bank robbery at Ottawa, 111. The trio will go to the electric chair Thursday. Dr. Paul Schroeder, state criminologist, submitted the request for the post-mortem in order to study the mens brains.
