PLACE DUD dropped back on the stretch turn, but came with a rush in the final quarter. DONOKA began rapidly, saved ground and tired in the final drive. FARM HAND ran an even race. BLANC SEING saved much ground for the entire distance and, after making a good pace to the stretch, began tiring, but gamely outfinished STARS AND STRIIES. .The latter was raced wide most of the way and tired near the end. PRINCESS CAROLYN raced into a short lead at once, disposed of MISS PEGGY after three-eighths and, savins ground, withstood a challenge from THEO ROCHESTER and drew away in the final fifty yards. TI.EO ROCHESTER, taken up with a rush on the turn, raced on the outside of the winner in the long final drive, but tired in the final sixteenth. RED KNOBS came with a rush on the stretch turn and outstayed MISS TEGUY. The latter dropped back on the turn, but held on well in the stretch. The latter, never far back, was forced back slightly on the turn, saved ground in the stretch and made a game finish. LAMKIN raced wide and, although tiring, outfinished PRINCE BULBO. The latter was done after reaching the stretch. JACK SAVAOE finished fast. LADY WITT tired after showing the most speed to the stretch. BLKW-AWAY had early speed. AMSTERDAM, quick to begin, saved ground while setting the pace and held on well after being headed. LANCER moved up slightly on the stretch turn, then hold on gamely to outstay MARLBORO.
