RELLINE raced on the outside and lost ground entering the slretch, but came again in the final eighth. GBNGHH KHAN began slowly, Bhowcd speed, but lost ground on the stretch turn and went wide. LOST AGNES saved grouud while forcing the pace to the stretch, wore down and took the lead from LILLIAN TOBIN to win drawing away. LILLIAN TOBIN began fast, set a good pace until well down the home stretch, but tired and barely outlasted LIGHTNING JONES. The latter, well up, lost ground la the stretch, but finished gamely. KING NADI, cloae up to the stretch, came to the inside anil wore down T. S. JORDAN and GOLDEN VOLT, but barely outlasted FANNIE J. The latter began slowly and was far out of it to the stretch, but finished with a rush and just failed to get up. GOLDEN VOLT improved his position steadily, took the lead in the last eighth and tired. T. S. JORDAN forced and set the pace to the stretch, then tired. PRINCETON showed early speed. The latter saved ground on the turns, raced well to the stretch, where he tired and barely outlasted GRENADIER GUARD. The latter, outrun to the stretch, was going fast at the end. MOWLKB hustled into the lead in the first quarter, with tood challenges from GOLDEN PRINCE •nd, carrying the latter along at a fast pace, raced him into defeat and held CANAAN safe. CANAAN, close up to the stretch turn, cut across in front of GOLDEN PRINCE sharply and held on well to the end. COLBEN PRINCE raced well, but seemed to tire when crossed by CANAAN entering the stretch. MONTANARO and CHICAGO were badly outrun after the first half mile. Scratched — 3050! FLORIDA GOLD, fractious at the barrier, threw his rider twice before the start, running away for a quarter and then a half mile, but when the start came beat the barrier, raced into the lead and woo an the way MAXIVA dropped back after the start, but came fast in the last half. SWEET MANDY showed early speed, but was taken back and failed to respond when called on. PRINCELY tired. Overweight — Sweet Mandy, 21 pounds.
