LAGUNA showed good early speed, but under a weak ride, was allowed to run out at the stretch turn, carrying EASTER SETH with her and subjecting the latter to severe bumping, for which she was disqualified. RAG BABY raced forwardly and swerved in the stretch, but continued gamely and was gaining fast at the end. EASTER SETH showed much speed and might have won but for being bumped by the winner. WATSON, at home in the going, passed KING FLAME in the stretch and won easily. KING FLAME had tie most speed in the early stages and took a good lead, but was not capable of holding the winner. THISTLE CLAD began slowly and closed a big gap. CEO. TERRY" was racing well at the end. SHASTA IRISH and KINGSCOURT II. had no chance at the start. KANAWHA refused to start from the stall gate and was left at the post. LEO LAMlE, saving ground where possible, slipped through on the inside of MONTELLO on the stretch turn and drew away to an easy victory. JIiiNTKI.l.O rushed to the front on the back stretch and, while not capable of holding the winner, was easily best of the others. OMARDALE was outrun in the early stages and made up much ground. IAR.SLTTE tired badly. MAT HUNTER, showing a decided liking for the going, began quickly and, racing well, withstood the i-haHenge of SHERIFF SETH on the final turn and drew away into a long lead in the stretch. SHERIFF SETH could not head the winner, but was easily best of the others. THE DAGO failed to Improve his position under punishment and never threatened the winner. The others were badly outpaced. JACK ALEXANDER raced very wide on the stretch turn, but waa going fastest of all at the end. SIMONY showed speed, but tired. ANDROMEDA did not seem to lias the going. SHORT PRICE was far back throughout. JENNIFER bolted to the inside after the start and when straightened out was many lengths behind the others, but closed an immense gap in the last half mile and finished with a rush.
