LIBORIO raced into the lead after going the first quarter and held on courageously during the final drive, but could not successfully withstand the winners rush. MARTHA J. raced for-wardly throughout and showed a good perforamnce. FACE CREAM rsme fast during the last eighth. WATCHFUL gained ground. STAR MAIDEN tired.
