ROY DICKERSON ARRIVES Roy Dickerson, who was recently appointed to the important position of starter at the forthcoming meeting at Arlington Park, has reached Chicago from New York, all ready to begin his duties. For his assistants Mr. Dickerson has selected a staff of capable men. Mr. Dickerson is well and favorably known among horsemen all over the country and he promises to make good at Arlington. For twelve years Dickerson was first assistant to starter Mars Cassidy on the eastern tracks, and prior to entering Cassidys service he had been engaged for a number of years as trainer of the stable of John C. Ferris, well known Tennessee owner.
