# $ Clyde Van Dusen in Fast Mile Trial on Eve of Departure $ $ LOUISVILLE, Ky., June 1.— Clyde Van Dusen, the Kentucky Derby winner, which will be shipped to Washington Park Sunday, this morning worked a mile over the fast track in 1 :42%, easily. The fleet Man O War gelding went the quarter in :23% ; half-mile in :4S%, and three-quarters in 1 :16Vs. His trial was very satisfactory to his trainer, for whom he is named. The three-year-old is going to the Homewood course to fill his engagement in the impending renewal of the 0,000 American Derby.
