The latter improved his i« sition with a rush after the first quarter and held on well to the final sixteenth, where he tired. PANKY saved ground and finished gamely. GIHHYS CHOICE showed a fair effort. HAKAMZADA had a rough race. MORGANA quit. LlCKY DREAM and SOUTHLAND SON were caught in a bad jam shortly after the •tart.
