$ $ RACE TRACK FOR CHRISTIAN PASS, MISS. $ = « XEW YORK, X. Y., June 25.— Coincident with the announcement here yesterday of the pending merger of the interests of the Bowman, Biltmore and United Hotels Corporations, came the report of a contemplated race track development at Christian Pass, Miss., in connection with the Pine Hills Hotel at that point. The Pine Hills is a Bowman property, but is not included in the merger, it is said. It is controlled by Bowman management, of which organization H. B. Judkihs is managing director. Xeither Mr. Bowman nor Mr. Judkins could be reached yesterday to deny or confirm the Christian Pass report. The hotel property there has been under the control of Bowman management for several months. It is said that a large tract of land has been purchased on which to construct the new race track and a magnificent casino. Christian Pass is ten miles west of Gulfport and about twenty miles by road from Biloxi.
