UNJUST SUSPENSION LIFTED Canadian Associations Removes Ban Against Vaughan Horses Imposed in Error. HAMILTON, Ont., July 25.— One of the most important acts of the Canadian Racing Associations at its scheduled meeting he;d today in the club house at the Hamilton Jockey Club, was the restoration to good standing of the stable owned by Mrs. Amanda Vaughan, which is trained by C. H. Morris. It is expected that some of the performers from this establishment will be seen in action before the present session at Hamilton comes to a close. It was the intention of the stable to ship to Canada at the beginning of the season. Much confusion existed after the horses of the Vaughan stable reached Blue Bonnets from the meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club, when horses from this establishment were ordered withdrawn from competition on the opening day, due to an unknown individual wiring a message to the stewards and signing the name of Algernon Daingerfield. This was ordered investigated. Jockeys P. Goodwin and Herbie Fisher had their suspensions lifted. Both were set down during the meeting at Ottawa. F. Dougherty, another rider, was restored to good standing. Goodwin had the mount on Alleviator when he showed a bad race, causing the stewards to take action. The following members of the committee were present to deal with issuing licenses and other matters of business : H. J. Mc-lntyre of Hamilton ; Major Allan Ross, Ottawa ; John Madigan, Ft. Erie, A. E. Dyment, Ontario Jockey Club, Commander J. K. L. Ross, Montreal Jockey Club, G. M. Hendrie, chairman, and W. P. Fraser. The following trainers and riders received licenses under the rules of the Canadian Racing Associations : Trainers — A. Bennett, M. J. Beauchamp, P. B. Codd, D. Cooper, E. M. Doumaini, H. C. Dryden, J. E. Faulstich, A. Finley, F. C. Frisble, S. Gould, E. Gozzi, C. Graves, A. Gunther. H. S. Hart, H. Johnson, F. Knapp, W. T. Magruder. P. McKendrick, A. McNab, E. P. Monteith, N. K. Moody, T. Moran, E. J. OBrien, C. Robillard, M. J. Simmons, H. R. Smith, B. F. Stafford, E. Stillman. H. B. Stride, J. A. Strode, F. Tyler, E. D. Springer and S. White. Jockeys — J. Bardales. J. Bethel, F. Bryson, M. Caruso, A. Greco, H. Long and W. Long. Apprentices— W. Clements. T. McGovern, A. Ridgeway. D. Montour has been granted permission by the governing body of the Canadian Racing Associations to sell his stable of race horses at public auction. The stable includes Alleviator, Galloping Dawn, Edna S., Fairnet and Aristador. The entry of Alleviator, however, will not be accepted on any race course racing under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Racing Associations. Jockey Orville Brown has been granted a probationary license to ride on the Canadian Racing Associtaions courses. It is likely that Brown will be affiliated with the stable owned by H. G. Bedwell, of Savage. Md.
