I FAIRMOUNT PARK NOTES ! «$ ® COLLINSVILLE, 111., June 25. Jockey A. Yerrat departed on Monday night for Windsor, Ontario, where he will ride free lance at the Canadian meetings. Trainer Ed Haughton, acting for the George Colins stable, made the purchase from J. H. Edwards of the five-year-old mare Spanish Aster, securing the racer for ,500. The expected shipment of the horses in care of trainer A. V. Thomas arrived from Banbridge Park. Thomas brought Ada Ell Been, Aileen Bensinger and Minah Louise, three two-year-olds belonging to the San Merg Stable ; the two-year-old Copper Son, property of Walter I. Kohn. and Monte Rosa and Clemmie, property of A. V. Thomas. C. Graffagnini disposed of the racers Hypnotism and Mid Mint at private sale, to the Mrs. M. Wolff stable. There will be an auction sale of horses in training in the paddock at Fairmount Park Wednesday, July 3. Twenty-five thoroughbreds will be up for sale, including about ten two-year-olds. Most of the horses to be auctioned off are from the stables of Keene-land Stable, J. W. Marchbank, C. Graffagnini and others.
