I LATONIA TURF NOTES f $ LAVOfflA, Ky., June 25. Jockey A. Pascuma, the McLean stable rider who returned yesterday from Cleveland, resumed riding today. R. Finerty, with the E. F. Pritchard stable, also got into colors during the afternoon. Mose Goldblatts Golden West was excused from the substituted race due to soreness, which developed after he was given light exercise this morning. Charles Van Meter has additions to his big stable in the two-year-olds Sarda and Chattering, the property of Charlton Clay. Sarda is a daughter of Sarmatian — Jerda, while Chattering, also a filly, is by Chatter-ton out of Bondeau. Rempli. which was purchased out of the recent sale of Audley Farm horses, has been acquired by J. C. Waters and J. M. Murphy will train the youngster. John Hackmeister, for years the directing head of Latonia, came from Florida in time to witness the victory of Busy Fairy, the only horse he has in training, in the closing race Monday. Jockeys A. Abel and L Pichon did not fill their engagements today, due to illness. J. N. Camdens Rose of Sharon, the triple Oaks winner, and R. S. Ch.iks Current unloaded from Washington I.nk this morning. They shipp.d in good style and will now be prepared for the impending renewal of the Latonia Oaks.
