An effort will be made to make a steeplechaser of Contemplate. J. Mee swapped the Canadian-bred three-year-old Lumis to the Royal York Hunt Club for a lead pony. Victor Emanuel, who races under the name of Dorwood Stable, has taken over the three-year old colt Morotone, from Benjamin Block, culminating a deal that wca started last week. Emanuel also purchased Morfair, Morstones two-year-old brother, fiom Block and the two colts will not be trained by J. P. Smith. Both are by Morvich. from Mormaw. by Fair Play. The price for the two was not made public.
