t LONG BRANCH TURF NOTES ♦— ■ 4 TORONTO, Ont, June 9. The Queen City Stable received an addition in the Irish-bred Knochenarregan. This son of Essexford — Little Hall was an arrival from the old country a few days ago. He was a winner on the flat over the hurdles and won the only steeplechase in which he started. Trainer Charlie OLeary reports the horse is rapidly becoming acclimatized and is pleased with the manner in which he is taking to his work. R. V. Boyle is shipping the Geneseo Stable to Blue Bonnets as soon as he can arrange shipping accommodations. It was found that Allanah was not eligible for the opening race, which was fashioned for non-winners of three races since March 1. The Hullcoat plater had won three races, therefore was not eligible. The following riders have signified their intention to stay over and ride at Dufferin Park: F. Dougherty, E. T. Moore, N. Foden, G. Horn, F. Munoz, W. Obert, J. Pollard, S. Lipiec, J. Walker, H. Louman, T. Aimers and C. Ralls. Apprentice Sidney Hallsworth accepted his first mount of the Canadian season when he rode Mintmagi in the fourth race for his contract employers, the Seagram Stable. J. C. Fletcher has sent the three-year-olds Pampered Pet and Gimme Girl back to Downsview Farm, to be freshened up. They will be put back into training again in a few weeks. Sky Gazer, from the R. S. McLaughlin stable, which finished third in the Kings Plate, has been eased up and likely will not be seen under colors again until the Hamilton meeting. Sheila Wood, a juvenile in this stable, which developed a fever after her last race, has been put back into light training. It is understood that a gang of workmen has been put to work at Stamword Park, to prepare it for the meeting, which opens in July.
