MODEN gradually improved her position and, going to the outside in the stretch, wore down the leaders and was going away at the end. COLLARVICTORIA, in a jam soon after the start, worked her way up gradually thereafter and came with a rush at the end. FREETHINKER took a good load approaching the stretch, but tired badly in the last sixteenth. SABANA, hard urged from the start, tired in the stretch. GRANITE ROCK closed gamely in the last quarter. CRAIGMORE showed speed between calls. HEDGE RAY made up ground from a slow start. BRAVE ALONZO was practically left at the post. ZAMBAR raced close up, but was in the deepest going next to the rail and tired. HAYTIME tired. SUN CRAIG could not get up. FEDERAL RESERVE showed early speed, but tired. MONGOLIAN closed fast after trailing far out of it in the first three eighths. The latter, fractious at the start, went into a good lead on the back stretch, but tired in the stretch drive. LITTLE SCOUT made up some ground. SAINTS FANCY was always outrun.
