THE HEATHEN showed good speed from the start, saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. CONDESCEND, on the outside of the leaders early, went to the inside in the stretch, but failed to wear down the leaders under urging. STAND BY was outrun all the way. Won easily ; second and third the same, MADIOLA, under restraint, jumped well, but landed badly at the eleventh fence, recovered quickly and drew away. SPINNER raced forwardly in the early stages, moved up when called upon, stumbled at the twelfth jump, but finished resolutely. YOUNG PRINCE showed speed to the first turn of the field. RElJ FLAG was outrun and had no mishaps. INCEPTION lost his rider at the fifth jump and FARO was pulled up after taking the first fence. BUDDY BASIL, fractious at the post, was outrun. ARRAS had no mishaps. MAKE HASTE tired badly. ■
