« MOUNT ROYAL OPENS JULY 4 MONTREAL, Que., June 24.— Books were distributed at Dorval today for the Mount Royal meeting, which opens Saturday, July 4. The veteran C. W. Primrose will be presiding steward, John P. Turner racing secretary and Jack Yerian starter. Purses range from 00 to 00. X. E. Narlsonne is acting as manager of the Mount Royal course. A luncheon will be tendered Sunday to newspaper representatives who have been invited to inspect the track. The former barns at the course have all been demolished and replaced with new structures, and many other improvements made.
