f LATONIA TURF NOTES ? $ $ LATONIA, Ky., June 24. After supervising the unloading of his horses, Asa Harned motored to his home in Louisville for the week-end. He returned early this morning and reported that, barring mishaps, Typhoon would fill his engagements in the Independence and Enquirer Handicaps. Lon Jones, who also shipped four in the same car, visited his National Stock Farm in Jefferson County, over the week-end. John J. Flanigan returned from his home in Louisville, where he went after supervising the stabling of the twelve horses he shipped here from Bainbridge Park. After conferring with Latonia track officials, Tom Young continued on to Louisville for an inspection of the Churchill Downs and Douglas Park tracks and returns from there to Washington Park. The horses Eddie Kaiser brought from Lincoln Fields were Agincourt, Fairy Ring, Irene T., Surly, Miss Way, Winding On and Clean Clipper. Immediately upon his arrival he took over Morose, which Baylor Hickman shipped from Churchill Downs with the seven F. P. Letellier brought from there. Hickman also brought a horse from Lincoln Fields for H. Teller Archibald. N. Kaiser, who rode his first race, during the recent Downs meeting and a son of the trainer, accompanied the shipment. In the same car with the horses that Kaiser shipped here were four the property of W. F. Hausman, which Albert Lewis is training. Milton Reiser arrived from Bainbridge Park with the horses Delivered, candidate for the Cincinnati Trophy; Winona Lady, Bunt, Hoops, Pretty Sing, Dashaway and Stars and Bars. He sent Red Likker to Ravenna. The horses are the property of W. F. Knebelkamp, owner qf the Louisville baseball club. In the same car with the Knebelkamp horses were Perkins, the property of Harry Van Ree, and Chatter Black, the property of the Forest Cove Stable. _ J. M. Reed sent Butter Beans and Overboard to Arlington. Later Butter Beans will come from there to fill her engagement in the Clipsetta Stakes. Joe Umensetter unloaded Adalor T., Derby T., Tom and Joe Baker from Churchill Downs. R. J. Wilkerson arrived from Bainbridge with Epidemic and three others. Charles Bacharach, owner of the Southland Stable, will arrive from his New Orleans home Thursday and E. B. Bacharach, his brother, is expected from his New York home. Both expect to remain for the thirty-one days of racing. Jockey C. Callahan, who was injured at Bainbridge, having fully recovered, arrived with the horses Reiser brought here and reported to J. J. OMalley, who is in charge of the Audley Farm Stable horses. Quiver and High Color, which William Hinphy campaigned at Washington Park, arrived with the Greentree Stable horses. Harry Kessen also unloaded Marilyn K.
