LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 25.— The last of the shipments from Churchill Downs to Washington Park left for the Homewood course Monday night when Allen Gallaher shipped his small but select stable of six, the colored trainer, William Reed, took four, the property of Charles Nuckols, one of his own, and one the property of W. M. Echert. Albert Lewis left at the same time with the Ridgeview Stock Farm Stable horses. The Gallaher string is headed by Back Log, while Reed took Cousin Jo, which won the 1931 Kentucky Oaks, High Diver, Miss Justice and Pony Up for Charles Nuckols, Edwin White for W. M. Echert, and Quick-away, which he purchased from W. C. Good-* loe. The Ridgeview string comprises Ridgeview, Olamay, Glamorous, Ridgewise and two others. Those stables which will remain at Louisville until a couple of weeks before the opening of the Latonia meeting are: J. J. Flanigan, who has the double winning two-year-old Arouse; Geo. V. Barnes, Lon Jones, R. P. Brooks, F. P. Letellier, R. L. Wood-ard, L. H. Sewell, R. J. Wilkerson, Irving Kort, Mrs. C. N. Lewis and H. J. Simpson. Jack Weaver plans on shipping the nine he is training for W. E. Smith, to Latonia Thursday. Weaver has the three time winner and unbeaten two-year-old, Otherwise, as well as the winner Lonwin, Satrap. Mur-phys Luck, Score, Cheronap, Onside and Knockaway, all two-year-olds, and the four-year-old True Blue Pal for the vice-chairman of the Kentucky State Racing Commission. Otherwise was not nominated for the Bashford Manor Stakes here, as the son of Wise Counsellor stuck a nail in his foot last winter and at the time for the closing of the stake it did not appear that the colt would be ready for the Churchill Downs meeting. However, Weaver has named the colt for the Cincinnati Trophy at Latonia and he will be named for the Lincoln Fields Juvenile Stake as well as other late closing events. J. P. Sallee, the trainer of the Thomas Piatt and Thomas Carr Piatt horses, decided against shipping to Chicago and the horses will be vanned to Latonia the last of the week. Sallee has Dominant Miss and Blondell for T. C. Piatt and Valdosta, Polly Mac, Yarnallton, Coast Patrol, Black Nose and Miss Cameron for Tom Piatt. Dominant Miss, a double winner at the Downs, will be nominated for the Clip-setta Stakes at Latonia. Sallee sent the two-year-old Cherry Red to the Brookdale Farm of Tom Piatt at Lexington. Pierre Pan, the property of R. L. Woodard, bucked in his first and only race and William Woodard will send him and another two-year-old to Latonia when Pierre Pan is ready to resume training. The four two-year-olds that Roscoe Goose purchased from Col. E. R. Bradley, were left at the Downs in charge of James Jackson and they will be sent from here to Latonia several days before the opening of the Milldale meeting to join the Goose string which will be sent there from Washington Park. The Bahr starting gate will be dismantled and shipped to Latonia the last of the week. •
