■ L L RESOLUTION WITHDRAWN NEW YORK, N. Y., May 25.— A meeting of The Jockey Club was held at Belmont Park before the running of the first race. Routine business was transacted. John Cow-din, who submitted a resolution at a pre- vious meeting of the ruling body, empowering the racing secretaries to abandon a race should the entries be less than five, withdrew his motion. 1
